“..I feel that my body is more aligned and moving more efficiently, I take fuller breaths with ease, and feel lighter and more balanced.  I recommend it for athletes looking to free up their bodies.”

Danny Diekroeger, Drafted by St. Louis Cardinals

“Rich is terrific - he's helped me very much with being able to rock climb harder and faster.” Sibylle Hechtel, World Class Mountain Climber

Welcome to Rich Ennis Rolfing Structural Integration

Whidbey Island, Washington

Rolfing SI is a sophisticated form of hands-on therapy designed to reduce or eliminate long standing problems such as chronic pain or bad posture.  If you want to improve your athletic performance, release chronic tension, and reduce or eliminate chronic pain, then Rolfing SI may be right for you.  My approach is comprehensive, including fascia related to muscle, skeleton, nerves, joints and viscera.

I am working with clients from all walks of life. Although athletes are not my only clients, I do work with many professional athletes from a variety of sports. This includes professional athletes from Major League Baseball, the NFL, pro cyclists, climbers and from Olympic track and field.

Richard Ennis is President of the Board of Directors of The Dr. Ida Rolf Institute® (formerly the Rolf Institute® of Structural Integration), Boulder, Colorado (rolf.org), is on the Rolf Institute Research Committee, a group dedicated to advancing a scientific understanding of the benefits of Rolfing SI, and is on the Scientific Advisory Council for the Rolf Research Foundation (rolfresearchfoundation.org).

Richard is a Certified Advanced Rolfer™ and a Licensed Massage Therapist.  Richard studied at the University of Illinois and has a B.S. degree in Ecology, a B.S. degree in Biochemistry, and a M.S. Degree in Developmental Biology and has 25 years experience researching chronic diseases.
